Project Description
79-86 Center Console Restoration Step by painful step.  I got a funkified console and brought it back from the dead.
79-86 Center Console Pad Review Rounded up a few repro dash pads and an OEM pad for a review.
79-86 Reproduction Dash Pad Review I took a hard look at the two different dash pads that Dashes Direct now offers.
Restoring a 79-93 Map Light I disassembled (fairly completely) a map light or three to fix them once and for all.
Cleaning I did a write up on what I use to clean my door panels and such.
Interior Painting/Dyeing I finally got the courage to take a few pieces and hit them with the lacquer paint I purchased.
SandBlast Can I decided to make my own sandblasting container.  Fun project.

Non asc wing. Proof of a NON ascMcLaren Capri Bubble Back Spoiler.  This wing sports a notch for the third brake light introduced to the bubble in 1986. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
Non asc wing. 2 Yet another non ascMcLaren Spoiler.  This is the same as the one above, except it is not notched for the third brake light.  The owner got the wing 15 years ago.  It was bought it in the Ann Arbor MI area.  It is hard plastic with 2 pieces glued together. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10  (thanks to Mark Burkheiser)

85-86 Mustang Capri Headers Would you believe there are like 2 or 3 versions?  These are not flukes nor were they pulled from other cars.  None seems to be any less scarce than the others. 85: 1, 2

Rear speaker installation. Picked up some rear 6.5" Kenwoods (picture 1).  The tweeter stuck too far out for the original speaker covers to fit.  So I picked up some flush mount 6.5" Kenwoods (1668s, picture 2).  They need a couple of holes drilled to line up the bumps for the speaker covers.  I was amazed that last year speakers were still designed to accept the 20 year old speaker covers with absolutely NO modifications (picture 3).  Picture 4 is a comparison of the stock Ford speaker cutouts and the one asc used.  Pictures 5 and six was some connectors I rigged up so I didn't have to cut the stock Ford wiring. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6
